The 6th Annual Sarasota Winter Fine Art Festival returns to downtown Sarasota on January 13-14, 2018, returning to its historical location on Gulfstream between Cocoanut Ave. and McAnsh Sq. The Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) again graciously hosts this spectacular art event, one of the finest fine art festivals in Florida and the nation.
Artwork brought to Sarasota by more than 130 local, regional and national artisans transforms Gulf Stream into an extraordinary outdoor gallery of original handmade art. This palette of spectacular creations is created by works in painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, metalwork, graphics, woodworking and more. Explore a diversity of styles, techniques and materials guided by the diverse and compelling visions of each artisan. Do not find exactly what you wish? Discuss with the artists the option of commissioning a unique piece of art made specifically for you! All the artisans creating these inspirational works are present at the event. Know that many also are represented in the nation’s finest public art museums and most prestigious private collections.
The 6th Annual Sarasota Winter Fine Art Festival is open 10 am to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free. Immerse yourself in the visual experience. Let your sensibilities and appreciation for beauty and creativity be your guide! Artwork will enrich your life.
